Luke Metzler was born on October 3, 2002, in Charlotte, NC, to Rob and Heather Metzler. Luke spent the first 18 years of his life in Charlotte before his family moved to Little Switzerland, NC, and he began attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In the summer of 2022, Luke served as an intern at a ‘mega-church’ in Charlotte, where the Lord began to spur his heart a desire for the church and for the gospel. After prayer and by the leading of the Holy Spirit, Luke launched the ‘X+1 Podcast’ in August 2022. That podcast ultimately became the planted seed that grew into what is now X+1 Ministries.
